CPF Housing Grant

CHG for First Timer Only

First time buyers are eligible for housing grant in the form of CPF if they meet the criteria as found in the following table. This is applicable for first time buyers purchasing Executive Condos or resale HDB flats. BTO flats buyers who are purchasing the first time are not eligible for CHG as BTO flats are already priced at a subsidised rate.

CPF housing grant will be credited into your CPF account upon the approval of your EC purchase, it can be utilised in the 15% down payment. CPF housing grant will be credited into your CPF account if you are getting a resale HDB flat, it will be used to deduct from the total purchase price of the flat.

 

*A SC/ SPR household can apply for Citizen Top-Up grant, equivalent to that of SC/ SC household, if the SPR converts to SC or when an SC child is given birth in the SC/ SPR household.

 

**It is applicable in a SC/ SC household, when one SC is a first timer and the SC spouse has enjoyed a housing subsidy (Purchased BTO before or Resale HDB with grant) previously.

 

By enjoying this CPF housing grant, please note that resale levy is applicable upon your next EC purchase or BTO flat purchase. Only some ECs are exempted from this condition, ECs land that were sold before 9 Dec 2013.
